Hey Saul,
Man, you up late. I wake up around the time you made this post. I forget a lot of animators are nocturnal. Good stuff. Looking forward to seeing the finished animation.

What's posted on the walls in your reference?

looking nice, it would be nice to give your character the old man shake/tremble just to add more texture to him, are you still at school?

I like the expression on the old dude's face. He reminds me of a meaner (if possible) grandpa...
hope you are getting some sleep. COme over soon!

Hey Saul!

Great test! I really like how it came out in the end.

This comment is for the clips in the reximation blog, for some reason I can't leave a comment there. Please feel free to delete this comment since is doesn't have anything to do with Old Benji.

Awesome clips! I vote for 2, 3, and 6. Heh, I don't know if that helps you narrow it down.

I like 2 because the scene could be hilarious or really creepy with that metallic crunch and thud at the end.

Number 3 has cool contrasting voices and it'd be fun to milk the part where Rip Torn says "..we gotta get meeeeean.."

And number 6 is cool for the sequence of punches at the end. It works well for the Cannery Row assignment.

Thanks! Hope that helps :)

Thought I'd drop a line. Good animation test, man! I really get that he's old through his movements.
